Maxam mowers and toppers are multipurpose mowers designed to do all the mowing and topping on your farm. A Maxam has the mowing capabilities of a disc mower, the convenience of a topper, and the spreading capabilities of a tedder. Thousands of farms in New Zealand have improved their pastures through the use of a Maxam mower. The clean cut close to the ground eliminates thatch build up, and the spread cut toppings which decompose quickly. As traditional toppers cannot mow close enough to the ground without scalping, the Maxam made an amazing difference to the grass quality.

Perfect balance; The 3300IV can be used on much smaller tractors than other mowers of similar cut width as they mount close to the tractor and the weight is evenly distributed. This is a real advantage, especially on steeper farms.
Patented ‘spring float’; The 3300IV has the latest spring loaded top link system which helps to follow all ground contours closely, creating a flat clean cut in all conditions. This system also transfers weight off the front of the mower so it glides easily over obstacles.
Safe and practical; A PVC skirt is fitted to the front of the 3300IV to contain all debris, which adds to the overall safety of the machine.
Optional Topping skids available which clip on and off easily
Optional Wilter Kit. The crop is cut, conditioned, and spread in one pass.
